The Point: A Black Tie Culinary Affair
On Saturday 10 October 2026, Sturgeon Valley will join On The Point – Lake Rotorua for an intimate black-tie evening of food, wine and conversation overlooking Lake Rotorua.
The event will introduce On The Point’s new Head Chef, BJ Sebastian, and offer guests a first taste of the direction he is bringing to the lodge’s dining this summer.
A Celebration of New Zealand Produce
Chef BJ will present a specially created multi-course degustation featuring exceptional ingredients from Akaroa King Salmon, Sturgeon Valley and Over the Moon Dairy, accompanied by selections from Rockburn Wines, The Merchant Taupō and Dhall & Nash Fine Wines.
Sturgeon Valley caviar, matured, graded and hand-packed here in Rotorua, will feature as part of the menu.
Throughout the evening, guests will hear directly from the participating producers and beverage partners, discovering more about the people, places and craftsmanship behind each course.
